Stand-up desks are all the rage at work. There's supposed to be all kinds of health benefits, you stay more alert, etc, etc. I moved desks at work so I'm trying it for the time being. We'll see how it goes.
Anyway, a co-worker uses a stand-up desk and his china made stool broke into pieces. Fortunately no one was hurt. The top part was still good so I made a new base.
The legs are made from a nice tuba-for.
The dowel cross members have a walnut wedge to hold the joint tight. These are super strong.
Looking good Chad. Never heard of it but I'm going to have to get myself some of that tuba-for wood for legs, it makes some nice looking legs.
