  1. Hi, Chad,

I've joined the Garage Clean-Out Challenge by Organized Junkie and I hope you don't mind that I've linked to your post re the "French cleat" storage system. Totally awesome.

Would you mind sharing (blogging) about how you made the french cleats. I know a little (very little) about woodworking, and I understand you created 45-degree angles on the pieces of plywood with both angles slanting toward the wall? I'd feel better about using already precut wood because it will look better than my cutting ability. Any size you could recommend?

I'm trying to figure out how you created the moveable blocks and whether you had to leave one end open in order to place those moveable pieces on the stationary strips.

    Anyway, it looks great!

  2. What an awesome garage clean-up. I'm a DIY wannabe mom, and do a bit of tool work, but not sure I can handle cutting yet. I would like to organize our garage using your system. As Angie asked, would you post how you created this system? Thanks very much. Annie.
