Little bit of plywood

It looks like about half the roof is covered in plywood.  I'm hoping they get that big pile of shingles on before the thunderstorms roll in.

We were told they would have a crane on site Tuesday, but there's not much evidence of that.

Wednesday they appeared to get a start on things.

Walls!!

Mom and dad came out to visit and were able to see the house with most of the walls in place.  It was just floor joists 3 days ago.  The framers didn't waste any time.

This is the four season room.  I'm going to see if they can add another daylight window in the basement. We didn't realize how high off the ground the house would be.

These walls were not here on Saturday.

The first of the floor joists being installed in the distance.  The house going to be quite high off the ground.

I'm supposed to have 2 basement windows on this side.  I'll have to check into that...

Start of framing

Avery and I drove by the lot after ballet today.  The weather has been bad but they managed to set the I-beams and start framing.  I was told they need to bring in 20 loads of dirt to backfill.
